Bruton s spiral of light festival was originally created to celebrate candlemas which traditionally falls 40 days after christmas. Visit somerset bruton. As bruton is my home town i seem to accumulate a lot of photographs of it and the nearby areas so it has three galleries. These are sparkling images from the town s annual light and fireworks event. It was a cold dark night for the bruton spiral of light we were given a number of duties to perform car parking security to the dovecote main entrance guarding whilst all the time holding onto collecting buckets.
